These are the first eight minutes ride on an electric tandem bike from Zhong-Shan north road to Wu Fen Pu market. The Bicycle has two brushless electric motors for the front and back. Both engines have their own controllers. For normal city rides I only need to turn on one engine. However for climbing mountains around Taipei city it’s better to use both. Four lithium Ion batteries will get two people about 75 km range. When using both engines it’ll cut almost in half. I used this bike for almost four years now and rebuilt it with a second motor a year ago. Never had any problems with it. Bringing two weeks shopping supplies home no problem.
